I want to give an unconditional yes, but there are two things I feel like I should tell you first: 1. I'm a totally self-taught, gut-instinct writer who says vague things like "this paragraph breaks the flow because it pulls the reader's focus over here instead of keeping it with this character's experience" and 2.
