I made the mistake of asking the evil twin for more prompts, since the last batch was so fun. The count is now twenty two. My poor little yellow notepad.

Reno hangs back, watching the street.
Night around here is usually quiet. Halfway between the slums and the centre, most everyone is nine-to-five, so the shady characters tend to stay out of the limelight. For the most part, it's a good deal: the office monkeys make themselves useful, the thieves and prostitutes and pushers do their thing, and ShinRa ignores the entire works as long as it doesn't start to stink.
A john and his whore stumble out of an alleyway and Reno gives them a lazy once over. The guy's drunk but the whore's looking at him like she knows he's trouble. She plays it smart and drags the guy back into the shadows. Reno looks back to the dark apartments.
He figures it shouldn't be too long now, so he lights up a cig while he's waiting.
All in all, Reno's pretty happy with how things have been going down since the old man kicked it. There's been a lot less standing around playing bodyguard and a lot more cleaning house. For a guy like Reno who likes to be on the move, that counts for a lot.
Reno blows out a lazy puff of smoke, eyes on the first few flickers of red. At the sound of light footsteps, his gaze jumps down to the main door.
What he's really got to appreciate is a guy who's not afraid to get his hands dirty.
Rufus reeks of gasoline. His face is flushed from the fire, there're a few black soot stains stark on his white clothes. Reno offers up his half-smoked cig and watches Rufus take a long drag. The screams are just starting over the crackling flames.
"Have fun, boss?"
Rufus hands the cig back with a smile.

Rufus watches them work.

Shinra, the man with the tattoo said, his eyes bright with terror, panicked because he couldn't feel his legs. He'd drawn the knife and Reno'd broken his spine. Shinra paid us.
The words replay over and over again.
He begged for a potion, screamed and spilled his guts when Reno jabbed him in the neck with the stun baton. He'd seen what it'd done to one of the others, the woman's body still twitching long after she'd died.
Rude said, Could've been paid to lie.
You think this shithead had the balls for that? Reno countered.
The man whimpered, pitifully reaching for help he wouldn't receive. They ignored him, spoke as if he was nothing, already dead. Argued over whose turn it was to call Tseng with the bad news.
Rufus watched them, palms damp inside his leather gloves, his chest tight. At his feet, the bodies of his father's thugs grew cold.
It's barely a half hour later. Rufus is naked on his knees between them. The sweet ache of Rude's first thrust sets his nerves to humming as Reno's cock fills his mouth, stretches his jaw wide.
He's thinking of their first kills for him when he groans.

It'd been too long to remember.

Kain stood by the body of a young boy for a long time before Cecil touched his arm. He couldn't remember the last time Cecil had dared. Through the layers of leather and steel, he imagined the heat of it.
"Do you remember Mist," Kain said. He didn't make it a question, and Cecil didn't answer. "I knew what would happen to the village. Baigan made no secret of it."
Again, Cecil said nothing. Without the visor's shadow, his eyes were bright, clear, and still, Kain couldn't find what he sought.
It would've been easier if Cecil could hate him.
