For everyone that ends up here and doesn't have an IJ account, you can use OpenID to identify yourself by your LJ ID, or pretty much any journal account from what I've heard. I use it over on LJ occasionally (like the signing up for [insanejournal.com profile] spn_j2_xmas later today, ehe).

When you leave a comment, all you have to do is clickie the little dot that says OpenID, plunk in your LJ URL (to your actual journal, not your profile), and viola! I know who you are and can immediately skip on over to visit.

Alternatively, I'll never turn off anonymous commenting, so you can just whop your LJ name at the end of your comment and I'll still know who you are. :p

And now I write underaged Sam/Dean. Yay for statutory holidays!

I just wish somebody had come up with the idea to be able to do something similar with friend pages, so, say, I could read your posts here from my lj's flist.
In any case, thanks for the explanation... I'll try to catch up with the posts now.

Hee, you can. All you have to do is add a feed of my IJ to your LJ. The two journals are interchangeable in nearly every way. :3
