So, my employer has told me not to bother coming to work for the rest of my notice period. Which, you know, awesome, I get paid and don't have to go to work. Right?

Wrong. They said they don't have to pay me a thing.

Aha. Ahahaaa. HA. RIGHT. I DON'T THINK SO.

After a big kerfuffle, they said they'll pay me two weeks, which they have to anyway, thanks very much. I'm so glad I made the decision to leave that place. I'm the fifth employee they've tried to shaft in two years.

I mean, what were they hoping, I'd just let it slide? Just. Argh.

Yes. Quite. It's unfortunate that it's not worth my time to sue them, because while I usually view suing as a cheap, coward's way of making money that's completely overused in society, sometimes, THEY DESERVE IT.

I have to go in today to pick up my ROE and final pay. I'm really not looking forward to stepping in that place again.

That said, I was severely tempted to wear something from my OTHER wardrobe. You know, the not worksafe one. Lots of leather. Mmhm.
