I've gotta commend you for the depth to Reno, though Rufus getting a bit of an uke treatment bugged me. Given the situation, it's pretty understandable, tho'.
The near-rape scene was riviting, though had me poised like a scared rabbit on the edge of my seat. Eheh. I knew Reno wouldn't let them do it, but I like the way the lines of loyalty are already beginning to form.
Ahhh...it's funny, I have a love/hate reaction to this story. How 'bout that? Think of it this way: It's proof of your good story-telling, able to penetrate beyond the perceptions of compulsive asshole like me.
