Yup! Varna is Serph's demon form, and Agni is Heat's. The change into demon form is temporary & reversible. As a game mechanic, you fight almost all of your battles in demon form, unless you've been "ambushed," in which case you start the battle as humans with guns. And can then spend a turn transforming into demon form, which is almost always the better way to fight. ^_^
