I would love an entire ficathon for fuckedup!Gerard . He's so beautifully vulnerable & pliant, yet possesses a deep insight that helps him rationalize his own behavior when nobody else understands it. And I love how he carefully allows a few trusted people into his world after they've proven that he can entrust his sensitive psyche to them. Even when he's at his worst he's somehow endearing, and his neediness brings some of the best people into his life to help protect him when he's being his own worst enemy.
