The way Adam hates Tommy's mouth? That's how I feel about your writing. OMG. And by "hate" I mean love. LOVE. So, so much!
Your prose is amazing; all the little metaphors and similies like "a small nation's worth of pillows" or "lungs sliced to ribbons on every sharp breath" just make me want to roll around in the text until it's all a big jumble of squishy, colourful words in the IKEA ballroom of fanfic.
I loved the sense of wonder and discovery you allowed Tommy, with him discovering the "slight scratch of hair still weird and fun when it's not just his own".
You even had me laughing at unexpected moments, like in the elevator scene: "This isn't so much talking as x-rated twenty questions, but whatever." LOL!! OMG.
This is probably one of the best "first time" Adam/Tommy fics I've read, and I'm printing it out for re-reading.
