OK, so... maybe my heart clenched a bit here a few times, right along Tommy's. It's a truly beautiful story, the descriptions are so vivid, the characters so lively, and Adam has a depth that kind of left me wondering, because I hadn't quite seen him like this before. I have no idea of how you managed to tell the story so lightly, yet leave little pieces here and there that give a hint of complex personalities. As a vaguely related note, Tommy's horror movie fixation is absurdly cute, and his love of just-a-bit-too-much everything kind of endearing and compelling.
I could go on about all the awesome lines (because you have the funniest, most charming phraseology ever, seriously), or the fantastic banter, or how you made me feel with the boys, but then I might get cheesy(er) and repetitive. I tend to start sprouting off all those high-school-essay born, crappy metaphors when I like a piece of writing this much (I can almost guarantee I'll end up talking about seasons. It's a thing).
You know, I really love your fics, every one of them. I have them bookmarked and saved in their own little folder, and yet I think I had never really taken the time to leave a comment where I tell you just how much I love your work. 'This is awesome! :D' kind of doesn't go very far.
Well, anyway, I'm taking a page out of Tommy's book and telling you now; you are an amazing writer. Thank you for writing this. It came just at the right moment.
