Once the idea hit me to make it almost entirely Watson's doing, I couldn't do it any other way. I love it just way too much. And Watson, he is sometimes brilliant, and sometimes quite smug. :D
I don't think I'll be doing anything more with this steampunk world--creating it in my head and then putting slivers of it on paper was really satisfying. It was an interesting challenge to write it as if they were intimately familiar with the world, and not describe absolutely everything!
