Have now read it. Made out-loud noises that sounded a lot like EEEEEEEEEEE YESSSSSSSSSSSS.
This is so, so them. I love Tony's voice, that almost-absent-minded snark and tightly-controlled concern when things go oh-so-wrong. I was extremely sad that Starscream knocked out Jarvis, though. :( I mean, seriously, Jarvis and Starscream would have great fun together, that pretty little voice is literally made to serve. But anyway! Starscream would so get intrigued by Tony's total inability to show appropriate fear. Also his total inability to not be snarky. I kind of terribly totally desperately hope you do more with this idea. ♥ I am so amused that even at the end, Tony is thinking "curiously dark panel" and "the controller belatedly advised." Also how cool would it be to get into a plane midair. You handled the three-dimensional nature of their interaction very well - most writers I see that try to write mid-air interactions seem to forget that there's an up and down as well as a forwards and back.
