filthy as the ace of spades

I have to admit, this comment caught me off guard, almost like a slap to the face wake-up call. I think about my writing in terms of 'just for fun' and 'it's only porn' a lot of the time, and forget to give credit to the bits and pieces of the characters I'm learning about (writing for me feels more like feeling out who the characters are, rather than telling them) that emerge when figuring how they view one another and fit together.

ponderosa121 is my editor, and she's most of the reason why my stories turn out as well as they do (modesty, I has it?). She's a slave driver, always pointing out where something could be better, or just plain doesn't work, and what it comes down to is that if it really were 'just' porn all of the time, I'd quit putting so much damn effort into it, and maybe so would she.

I'm glad you enjoyed my writing so much that you left this comment and reminded me of that. I really, really appreciate it. :3
