Have you read the Iron Man novels..? I love how they expanded on Jarvis's character. He's grown from a computer system "designed to please" into an intelligent sarcastic, autonomous person whom Tony can't even hope to talk down anymore. XD And who seems to have an ability to read in Tony's mind, which spooked Tony once or twice. XD
